Save a Report as a Preset Form

Coplogic™ Ethos allows you to specify a partially completed form as a template so it can be used as a shortcut when creating a new report.

Preset forms can be useful if you frequently need to issue the same type of report, such as for traffic violations or crashes that repeatedly happen at a particular intersection. You can build out the form with common data like location parameters, violation type, and court name, and then save it as a preset form. The next time you need to submit a report for the same type of incident at the same location, you can use your preset form with the location and/or violation data already pre-populated so you don't have to fill out the entire form from scratch.
note.pngPreset forms are officer-specific - only the officer that created a preset can use it for subsequent reports.
Procedure
  1. Create a new report, or select an existing report you want to designate as a preset form.
  2. Complete or edit the fields that you want to be consistent on the form every time it is used.
  3. Click the Save Preset Form icon at the top of the page.
  4. Name your preset form and click Save.
