Save a Report as a Preset Template

Coplogic™ Ethos allows you to specify a form as a template so it can be used as a shortcut when creating a new report.

This can be useful if you frequently need to issue the same type of report, such as for crashes that repeatedly happen at a particular intersection. You can build out the form with common data (such as the location parameters), and save the report as a preset template. The next time you need to submit a report for a crash at that location, you can use your preset template with the location parameters already specified so you don't have to fill out the entire form from scratch.

Preset templates are officer-specific - only the officer that created a preset can use it for subsequent reports.

1. Click Create New Report .

   

2. From the drop-down list, select the report type you want to use for your template.
3. Complete the fields that you want to be consistent on the template every time it is used. (For example, for a preset template for crashes that frequently occur at a particular location, you would want to enter the location data.)
4. Click the Save Preset Form icon at the top of the page.

   

5. Name your preset template and click Save.
