Violation Manger
Users with the appropriate permissions can create, edit, and delete violation codes used by the agency for incident reports and citations.
- In the left pane, select .

On the Agency Configuration page, select Violation Manager.
The Violation Manager page appears. If any violation codes have already been created, they are displayed in a list.

Select one of the following options:
Manually add a new violation code - Click the Plus icon.
If entries already exist, the new entry will be added at the end of the list.
- On the Add New Violation page, enter pertinent data for the new code.
- Click the Save icon to save the entry.
Load violation codes using a spreadsheet - Click the Download Offenses Template icon.
Coplogic™ Ethos downloads a spreadsheet template to your computer. The template typically displays in the bottom left-hand corner of your screen, but this may vary depending on your browser and settings.
- Click the template to open it in your spreadsheet application.
- Fill in data in each column for each violation code you want to add.
- Name the spreadsheet and save it to your computer.
- In Ethos, click the Import Violation Codes icon.
- Navigate to the saved file on your computer and click Open to upload it toEthos.
- To see the imported violation code records on the list, click the Refresh icon
Edit a violation code - Locate the item in the list of existing records.
- Click the Edit icon.
- Make your changes.
- Click Save.
Delete a violation code - Locate the item in the list of existing records.
- Click the Delete icon.
- Click OK to confirm the deletion.
Export violation code list to Microsoft Excel - Click the Export Excel icon.

- Click the file to open it.
Export violation code list to PDF - Click the Export PDF icon.
