User Interface Overview

The user interface is designed to provide quick and easy access to Coplogic™ Ethos Mobile features and functionality.

After login, Ethos Mobile opens the Report Dashboard at your default queue.

If you have multiple queues set up - for example, one for Pending Review, one for Approved Reports, and one for Rejected Reports - you can select a different queue by tapping the down arrow next to the queue title.

note.pngYour default queue and additional queues are set up using your agency's web-based or desktop version of Coplogic™ Ethos.

Dashboard Header

The dashboard header contains several icons that provide information or access to various features, as described in the following table.

Icon Title Description
Menu The Menu icon provides a drop-down list that includes the following:
Connection Status The Connection Status icon indicates connection status to your agency's Ethos platform.
  • White indicates an active connection
  • Red indicates there is no connection
Search The Search icon allows you to find a report in your queues using various search parameters. For more details, see Search for a Report.
State Database The State Database icon provides a direct connection to your state portal for running queries on DL (driver license) info, vehicle info, and/or Criminal History info.
note.pngThe icon label depends on your particular state's information database. The sample image shown at left reflects the Electronic License and Vehicle Information System(aka ELVIS).
Mobile Connect The Mobile Connect icon allows you to capture person and vehicle information by scanning the barcode on a DL, vehicle registration form, or VIN (vehicle identification number) decal. See Scan Using Mobile Connect.
Report Queue The Report Queue Label reflects the name of the current report queue. If you have multiple queues set up, you can select a different one by tapping the down arrow.

Create New Report

The Plus icon allows you to create a new report.

Report Queue

Ethos Mobile opens at your default report queue.

  • You can scroll up and down through a report queue.
  • To open a report, tap it.
  • If you have multiple queues defined, you can select a different one by tapping the Down arrow next to the queue title and selecting the desired queue from the list. (Your report queues are set up using the desktop or web-based version of Ethos)
