Create a New Report
You create a new report in Coplogic™ Ethos Mobile by selecting the appropriate form from a list and filling out the fields.
Procedure
- Sign into Ethos Mobile.

Tap the Plus icon.
Ethos Mobile lists the forms that have been developed for your agency.

Select the appropriate form from the list and begin entering the appropriate data.

- See Use Preset Templates for information on quickly creating a new report based on an existing one that you have designated as a template.
- You can enter person and vehicle information by manually typing in the data, by scanning the data directly into the report, or by pulling in data that was previously scanned in using Mobile Connect. For more information about the last two options, see Scan Driver and Vehicle Info.

After you have completed all required fields and are ready to submit the report, click Submit on the Summary page.
Depending on how your agency's forms are set up, your Summary page may vary from the example shown below.
The Submit button is greyed out (inactive) until all required fields have been completed. TIPS - Required fields are denoted by red text.
- By default, Ethos Mobile displays the validation rules for each required field. If you don't want to see the validation rules, tap the menu icon next to the page title and select Hide Validation Rules from the drop-down list.
- Be sure to save the report regularly to prevent data loss in the event of a dropped connection. It is also a good idea to save the report whenever you make changes to a page or section, otherwise the Summary page may not correctly reflect completion of required fields.
- You must complete all required fields before you can submit a report.
- If the page label at the bottom of a page reflects a check mark in a green circle, all required fields on the page are complete.
- If the page label reflects a check mark in a red circle, there are still blank required fields on that page.
- To quickly see if you have provided all required information, tap the Up icon next to the page label at the bottom of the page.
The Summary page displays a list of the report pages with red or green indicators reflecting the completion status of each page.
- A green circle containing a check mark indicates that all required fields on that page are complete.
- A red circle containing an exclamation point indicates required information is missing on that page.
From the Summary page, you can see a preview of the report, print the report, save the report, or submit the report (if all required fields are complete).
